Chicago Blackhawks captain
Jonathan Toews will miss Tuesday's game against the
Detroit Red Wings (8 p.m. ET, NBCSN) with an upper-body injury.
Blackhawks coach
Joel Quenneville told reporters in Chicago that the injury is not related to a wrist injury that sidelined Toews last month, and he is being listed as day-to-day.
Brendan Morrison will play in Toews' place.
Also out for the Hawks is defenseman
Niklas Hjalmarsson, who will be replaced in the lineup by
John Scott.
