Hawks not done yet

Make that 4-3. Life for the Hawks.

Jonathan Toews won the in-zone faceoff and after a battle in front, Duncan Keith swooped in and with his backhand roofed a shot over Howard to send the United Center crowd into hysterics once again with 8:38 to play. Patrick Sharp was in front and the puck got there off a shot by Marian Hossa. Sharp got credit for the primary assist, so clearly he must have touched the puck before Keith.

The Blackhawks obviously can't continue to trade chances and goals with the Red Wings anymore. They need to outscore the Wings in the final 8 minutes in order to clinch a playoff berth.

A trip to overtime would be good enough for them.
