Former Chicago Blackhawks forward Brad Richards brought the Stanley Cup to his hometown of Murray Harbour, Prince Edward Island on Tuesday.

Richards boarded the family fishing boat with his father Glen, mother Delite, wife Rechelle and son Luca for a parade that ended at the Murray Harbour Community Centre. He signed autographs during the celebration before addressing an estimated crowd of 4,000.

Richards had three goals and 14 points in 23 Stanley Cup Playoff games to help the Blackhawks win their third championship in six seasons. He signed a one-year contract with the Detroit Red Wings on July 1.

Richards also brought the Cup to Murray Harbour in 2004 after winning it with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

"When I brought the Cup here 11 years ago, I thought, 'OK, I'll be back five or six times,'" Richards told the crowd, according to The Guardian. "Then I found out how hard it is to win this thing ... but I'm thinking about another one."
