Center Pavel Zacha and defenseman Jakub Zboril, each first-round picks in the 2015 NHL Draft, highlight the roster of Czech Republic players invited to participate in Canada's junior development camp in Calgary next month.

The camp, which will be held from Aug. 1-6, will feature practices and exhibition games against Canada and Russia. Zacha, selected No. 6 by the New Jersey Devils, and Zboril (Boston Bruins, No. 13) will be among 22 players attending the camp that will help establish the roster for Czech Republic at the 2016 IIHF World Junior Championship.

The roster also features three second-round selections: goaltender Vitek Vanecek (Washington Capitals, 2014), center Filip Chlapik (Ottawa Senators, 2015) and right wing Vaclav Karabacek (Buffalo Sabres, 2014).

There are four players on the roster who represented their country in the 2015 WJC in Montreal and Toronto: Vanecek, Zacha, and right wings David Kase (Philadelphia Flyers, 2015) and Michael Spacek (Winnipeg Jets, 2015). The Czech Republic placed sixth in the tournament.

The 2016 WJC will be held Dec. 26-Jan. 5 in Helsinki, Finland.
