NHL Live welcomes Eichel, Bishop, Sheppard

Boston University freshman forward Jack Eichel will call the show at 5:30 p.m. for our weekly "Prospect Report." Eichel was named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month after his four goals and eight points led the Terriers to their best start in 13 years (4-0-0). He is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2015 NHL Draft.

Tampa Bay Lightning goalie Ben Bishop also joins us via telephone. In addition, San Jose Sharks forward James Sheppard will discuss "Burnzie's Buzzcut." Sheppard and teammates Brent Burns, Chris Tierney, Barclay Goodrow, Scott Hannan, Joe Pavelski and Mirco Mueller each shaved their heads and beards to raise funds for Defending the Blue Line, the Katie Moore Foundation and the San Francisco Zoo.

NBCSN analyst Pierre McGuire will check in from Madison Square Garden to preview the Wednesday Night Rivalry game between the Detroit Red Wings and New York Rangers (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN).
