Sidney Crosby will make his preseason debut Monday night when the Pittsburgh Penguins visit the Minnesota Wild, the team said Sunday.

Crosby was scheduled to play his first preseason game Saturday against the Columbus Blue Jackets, but he missed the home game to fly home to Nova Scotia after the death of his grandmother. He has been hampered during training camp by an undisclosed injury that the team said is unrelated to the wrist injury he suffered in March.

Forward Pascal Dupuis, who had season-ending knee surgery in February, is also scheduled to make his preseason debut against the Wild, according to the lineup posted on the team website.
