Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Stephane Robidas was cleared for contact Saturday, but will not play Sunday against the Buffalo Sabres.

Signed to a three-year, $9 million contract in July, Robidas has been recovering from a broken leg sustained while playing for the Anaheim Ducks in the Western Conference First Round series against the Dallas Stars. He broke the same leg in late November while playing for Dallas.

"He will be available to us once we feel and he feels he has his feet underneath him," coach Randy Carlyle told the Maple Leafs website.

Robidas, 37, split last season with the Stars and Ducks and scored five goals and 10 points in 38 games.
