MONTREAL -- Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Radko Gudas will not play Game 4 of the Eastern Conference First Round series against the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday.

Gudas, who has a lower-body injury, has played on coach Jon Cooper’s second defense pairing with Matthew Carle and averaged 19:07 of ice time through the first three games.

Montreal leads the best-of-7 series 3-0.

Cooper dressed seven defensemen and 11 forwards for the second time in the series. Defensemen Keith Aulie and Michael Kostka dressed; forward Tom Pyatt was scratched. Aulie is playing his first Stanley Cup Playoff game, and Kostka returns to the lineup after sitting out Game 3.

The Lightning also are without defenseman Sami Salo, who missed his second straight game with an upper-body injury.

Gudas had one assist, nine penalty minutes and a minus-1 rating.
