Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren on Friday announced that the club has signed goalie Anthony Stolarz and forward Brandon Alderson.

Stolarz, a 2012 second-round draft pick (No. 45), is starring for the London Knights in the Ontario Hockey League. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound keeper is 9-2-1 with a 2.17 goals-against average and .926 save percentage in 14 appearances for London coach Dale Hunter this campaign.

Alderson, who is in his fourth season in the OHL and second with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds, is third on the team with 57 points (25 goals). The 21-year-old right wing spent his first two seasons with the Sarnia Sting before being traded to the Greyhounds on June 2, 2011.
