LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- Sweden will use almost the same lineup it went with Tuesday in its 6-2 win against USA White with the exception of a change in goaltender.
Jonas Johansson, a Buffalo Sabres prospect, will start, with Fredrik Bergvik (San Jose Sharks) serving as the backup.
The U.S. lineup will feature its likely top two centers for the 2015 IIHF World Junior Championship in the middle of the top two lines. Jack Eichel, a top prospect for the 2015 NHL Draft, will center Tyler Motte (Chicago Blackhawks) and Alex Tuch (Minnesota Wild), while 16-year-old Auston Matthews will be between Nick Schmaltz (Blackhawks) and John Hayden (Blackhawks).
Thatcher Demko (Vancouver Canucks) will start and play the whole game in goal for the U.S., with Brandon Halverson (New York Rangers) the backup.
