STL @ NYR - 8:38 of the First Period

At 8:38 of the first period in the Blues/Rangers game, video review upheld the referee's call on the ice that the puck deflected off Alexander Steen's right skate and into the Rangers net. According to Rule 49.2 "A puck that deflects into the net off an attacking player's skate who does not use a distinct kicking motion is a legitimate goal." Good Goal St Louis.

Quote of the Day

I don't care how big the goalies' equipment is, when you're taking a shot like Ovechkin took [Wednesday], it's going to go in.
