DraftKings price: $5,900

With a limited pool of players to choose from on a three-game Monday, Spezza can provide a huge return on investment at the Toronto Maple Leafs (7:30 p.m. ET; TVA Sports, FS-SW, SNO). The second-line center has five goals and five assists in 11 games and is averaging 3.2 shots per game. Spezza has put up incredible numbers against Toronto in his career with 18 goals, 39 assists and 159 shots on goal in 58 games

Based on factors including but not limited to matchups, line combinations, power-play usage, statistical coverage and recent production, we'll provide you with lower-priced options that can help you build a winning lineup.

NOTE: These picks are for the 7-game night contests on Oct. 31 and does not include players from the 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. games.

Boone Jenner
C, Columbus Blue Jackets

DraftKings price: $3,900

The Blue Jackets are 2-2-0 since John Tortorella took over on Oct. 21 after coach Todd Richards was fired following an 0-7-0 start. Jenner, a depth forward, has flourished in the first four games playing for Tortorella with three goals, one assist, three blocked shots and 13 shots on goal. Jenner will try to extend his point streak to four games when Columbus hosts the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday. The third-year forward has two goals, three blocked shots and six shots on goal in three games against the Jets.

Frans Nielsen
C, New York Islanders

DraftKings price: $4,600

Nielsen is on the verge of a three-game point streak with two goals and two assists over the past two games. The second-line center saw some power-play minutes in a 4-0 win against the Calgary Flames on Tuesday, clocking 3:57, although his two goals scored were at even strength. DraftKings owners should be confident selecting Nielsen as their second center Thursday as the Carolina Hurricanes visit Barclays Center. Nielsen has seven goals, nine assists, 17 blocked shots, one shorthanded goal and 43 shots on goal in 27 games against Carolina.

David Krejci, C, Boston Bruins

DraftKings price: $5,400

No one brings more value to DraftKings owners than Krejci, who is currently in a four-way tie for the NHL lead in points with 12 (five goals, seven assists) through seven games and is second to Washington Capitals center Nicklas Backstrom with an average of 1.71 points per game. The veteran center seeks to extend his season-long point streak to eight games as the Bruins host the Arizona Coyotes on Tuesday. Krejci is averaging a point per game in nine games against the Coyotes with two goals and seven assists along with 16 shots on goal.

DraftKings daily fantasy value picks for Oct. 26

Each day during the 2015-16 season, NHL.com's fantasy staff will identify one player at each position worth owning in DraftKings daily fantasy hockey contests. Based on factors including but not limited to matchups, line combinations, power-play usage, statistical coverage and recent production, we'll provide you with lower-priced options that can help you build a winning lineup.

Martin Hanzal
, C, Arizona Coyotes

DraftKings price: $4,200

Hanzal has been an assists machine as the center for the Coyotes' top line this season, which has seen Hanzal skating between rookie forwards Max Domi and Anthony Duclair. Hanzal has at least one assist in six of eight games, and hasn't gone more than one game this season without one. According to that pattern, he should be due Monday when the Coyotes play the Toronto Maple Leafs (7:30 p.m. ET; TVA Sports); he was held off the score sheet in a 4-1 win at the Ottawa Senators on Saturday. All signs point to Hanzal contributing to the scoring Monday; seven of his nine assists this season have been on the road. And in eight career games against the Maple Leafs he has five goals, five assists, five blocked shots and 29 shots on goal.

Based on factors including but not limited to matchups, line combinations, power-play usage, statistical coverage and recent production, we'll provide you with lower-priced options that can help you build a winning lineup.

Mark Scheifele, C, Winnipeg Jets

DraftKings price: $4,800

The Jets’ second-line center is heating up with an assist in each of the past two games and three blocked shots in a 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning on Friday, which are Scheifele’s season totals in those two categories. If Scheifele follows the same scoring pattern Sunday against the visiting Minnesota Wild, he should get another assist since he had a goal in each of his first three games followed by two straight scoreless efforts and now is in the midst of back-to-back games with an assist.

Based on factors including but not limited to matchups, line combinations, power-play usage, statistical coverage and recent production, we'll provide you with lower-priced options that can help you build a winning lineup.

Mika Zibanejad, C, Ottawa Senators

DraftKings price: $4,400

The scoring has been well balanced for the Senators this season and Zibanejad is doing his part with two goals, five assists, two blocked shots and 18 shots on goal over seven games. Zibanejad has two multi-point games this season, including a shorthanded goal, assist and five shots on goal in a 5-4 loss at home Thursday against the New Jersey Devils. The Senators host the Arizona Coyotes on Saturday who are in the midst of a four-game losing streak and have given up four goals per game over that span. Zibanejad has been great against the Coyotes in his career with a goal, three assists and five shots on goal in two games.

Nazem Kadri
, C, Toronto Maple Leafs

DraftKings price: $4,900

Kadri entered play Wednesday leading the NHL with an average of 5.4 shots per game but only has one goal in five games this season. As a center on the Maple Leafs' top line Kadri is adjusting to a new role and a different style of play under coach Mike Babcock. But if Kadri can charge the net more as opposed to taking shots from the outside, the goals likely will start to stack up. Taking a chance on Kadri as a second center Wednesday at the Buffalo Sabres could provide some serious value for DraftKings contestants.

Frans Nielsen, C, New York Islanders

DraftKings price: $4,300

The Columbus Blue Jackets, the Islanders' opponent Tuesday, have lost six straight games to start the season. They've allowed 5.00 goals per game and have a minus-17 goal differential. Although the cold streak has to cease at some point, DraftKings contestants should stack up on affordable Islanders players like Nielsen. The second-line center has one goal, three points, three blocked shots and nine shots on goal in the past three games. He's fared well against Columbus in his career with two goals, eight points, nine blocked shots and 29 shots on goal in 12 games.

NOTE: These picks are for the 3-game evening contests on Sunday, Oct. 18 and does not include players from the 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. ET early games.

Brandon Sutter, C, Vancouver Canucks

DraftKings price: $4,300

Daily fantasy sports is all about taking advantage of affordable players that are currently experiencing a surge in production and Sutter fits that description. The Canucks center is averaging a point per game with two goals, three assists, five blocked shots and 15 shots on goal in five games this season, but he has never had more than 40 points in a season. Sutter has a strong history against the Edmonton Oilers, the Canucks’ opponent Sunday. He has two goals, five points, five blocked shots, one shorthanded goal and 16 SOG in seven games against Edmonton and also has three of his five points this season at home.
