Newark, NJ - The New Jersey Devils today signed defenseman John Ramage to a one-year, two-way contract worth $650,000 at the NHL level/$125,000 at the AHL level ($150,000 guaranteed). The announcement was made by Devils' Executive Vice President/General Manager Ray Shero.

Ramage, 27, spent the 2017-18 season split between the Cleveland Monsters (AHL), Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) and Milwaukee Admirals (AHL), registering four goals and 11 assists and 65 penalty minutes in 66 total games. The right-shooting defenseman was drafted in the fourth round, 103rd overall in the 2010 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames.
The 6-0, 190lb., Ramage has appeared in 310 career AHL games, scoring 19 goals and 64 assists for 83 points and 326 penalty minutes. He is the son of former Colorado Rockies defenseman Rob Ramage.
