If the sub-zero temperatures have you California Dreamin', you're not the only one. While the Wild traveled West to Anaheim today, the Lighthouse is stuck in the frigid Twin Cities, too. However, we're doing our best to stay warm with some practice updates, as we have a few friends checking in on the action for us.
Since we're not there to witness the action, we'll let the WildTV vids below speak for themselves.
Today, the team recalled forward Jason Zucker from Iowa, the team's American Hockey League affiliate, and the speedy winger joined the team in SoCal. He skated on a line with Charlie Coyle and Nino Niederreiter. If Zucker is in the lineup tomorrow, it will be his seventh game with Minnesota this season.
Tomorrow marks the first time that the Wild will play in the Pacific Time Zone this season, so brew a pot of coffee for the 9:30 p.m. State of Hockey start time. It is the second time the Wild and Ducks meet this season. Anaheim took the first meeting 4-3 in overtime on Oct. 5 at Xcel Energy Center.
