The Minnesota Wild and Red Baron Pizza are teaming up and asking fans to get social for chance to win an ultimate road trip with the team.
The Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL) has announced an enhanced partnership agreement with Red Baron Pizza, including all digital coverage of Wild road games. The grand prize of the #RedBaronRoadie is a trip for two on the fan road trip in the 2014-15 season.
Each road game, fans are asked to submit photos of themselves watching the game – and eating or impersonating Red Baron Pizza, of course – via twitter using the hashtag #RedBaronRoadie. Each month, the Wild will select the best photos. Those photos will be placed on Wild.com, with a monthly vote by fans. The winner of the monthly vote gets a prize, ranging from a new Wild jersey to autographed merchandise to game tickets. Each monthly winner will go into an end-of-season vote for a trip for two on the 2014-15 fan road trip.
As part of the sponsorship, each road game preview can be found at Wild.com/RedBaronRoadie (Preview against Nashville will kickoff the contest later today). Red Baron also has a presenting sponsorship for the Feb. 6 game against Nashville – one of two nights this season the Wild is wearing its new road whites at home.
