It’s not always easy staying tuned in to all things Wild online. Whether it’s a story or a funny Tweet, we’ve got you covered with the best links from around the web.
STUFF IN SOCHI (PART DEUX)
Last week was just the beginning of the Olympic Men’s Hockey Tournament. Now we’re in the thick of it. I think we’re all more than ready for another game like the American-Russian tilt that captivated us all last weekend.
Anyways, I’ll politely remind you we have all the updates on our Wild players in Sochi as well as a pretty neat photo gallery with a few interesting sights from the Games.
As the men started practicing in Sochi last week, Chip Scoggins from the Star Tribune, who is at the Games, looked into how the chemistry is developing on Team USA and how they set personal, NHL-team based rivalries aside. It all seems to be working so far and the American in me only hope it leads to a golden opportunity.

THE SWISS SENSATION
Sadly, Nino Niederreiter and the Swiss were eliminated from the tournament Monday, falling to Latvia 3-1. But Nino still brought us a few of his own experiences in Sochi from his time there.
He also retweeted a photo of himself, in full hockey gear, riding a scooter. It’s pretty great and I can only hope he brings that mode of transportation back to Xcel Energy Center.

LET’S HEAR IT FOR THE GIRLS
A quick nod to our lady Olympians here. Heated rivals Team USA and Team Canada have already met on Sochi ice, where Canada walked away victorious in the preliminary matchup.
The Star Tribune’s photographer Carlos Gomez was there to capture it all from the action-packed game. The Americans and Canadians meet up again Thursday, with Gold on the line this time.
WILD ABOUT THE GAMES
While there’s a lot going on in Sochi, stateside WildTV caught up with a few Wild players on some fun Olympic topics.
From outfits, to medal counts, to what song they’d figure skate to, we asked the hard-hitting questions.
For a follow-up, it may be time we start choreographing those skating routines.
AN ODE TO WILD VALENTINES
Last Friday was Valentines Day. It was a day full of love, joy, chocolates, flowers and — well, none of that if you’re single.
But whether you’re single or in a relationship, we shared some Wild-themed valentines greetings cheesy enough to top a big plate of nachos.
Don’t worry, next year’s puns are already in the works.
A DIFFERENT SORT OF ICE SPORT
As some Wild players are getting the chance to play their sport in the Olympics, a few others got to test out a different Olympic sport, and “Becoming Wild” was there for all the action.
In Part One of the adventure Charlie Coyle and Jason Zucker learn how to curl with 2010 Olympian Chris Plys. There’s also a photo gallery depicting all the fun. Be sure to check back later this week for Part Two!
NOT YOUR AVERAGE FROSTY THE SNOWMAN
If you got to this story through Twitter or Facebook, and simply haven’t visited Wild.com directly in awhile, you’ve sadly missed out our latest splash page.
Our creative team knocked it out of the park once again. Not only is it winter-themed, with cute little snowmen, but it once again shows a division rival who’s boss. Here’s a tweet of the image.
