Wild Vs. Wings Broadcast In High Definition

The National Hockey League’s (NHL) Minnesota Wild announced today that KSTC.TV, Channel 45 and 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS will telecast five Minnesota Wild hockey games in high definition presented by Polaroid during the 2006-07 NHL season. Friday’s game against the Detroit Red Wings at 7:00 PM will mark the first-ever high definition telecast on KSTC.TV, Channel 45.

To watch the game in high definition on 5.1 or 45.2, fans will need an antenna and a high definition receiver.  Comcast subscribers can watch Channel 45 in high definition on channel 206 in St. Paul and channel 1610 in Minneapolis provided you have Digital cable and have high definition television. In addition, Comcast subscribers can watch 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in high definition on channel 231 in St. Paul and 1050 in Minneapolis. On DIRECTV, 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS can be viewed in high definition on channel 5 or 886 provided you have a high definition receiver, dish and television.  DISH Network offers 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS in high definition on channel 5 or 6347 provided you have a high definition receiver, dish and television.
