SAINT PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the NHL club has reduced its training camp roster to 26 players.
The team assigned forwards Christoph Bertschy and Kyle Rau to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Wild also placed forwards Pat Cannone, Landon Ferraro, Kurtis Gabriel, Zack Mitchell and Cal O'Reilly, defenseman Alex Grant and goaltender Niklas Svedberg on waivers today. They will be assigned to Iowa on Thursday if they clear waivers.
