Wild reduces training camp roster to 55 players

Minnesota plays Winnipeg in preseason game on Monday

ST. PAUL - Minnesota Wild General Manager Paul Fenton today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reduced its training camp roster to 55 players.

The team assigned F Damien Giroux to Saginaw (OHL) and D Jacob Golden to London (OHL). Forwards Mitch McLain, Darian Pilon and Drake Pilon and defenseman Tate Olson were released from their amateur tryout contracts. Olson will report to training camp for the Iowa Wild.


Minnesota plays at Winnipeg tonight at 7 p.m. on KFAN 100.3 FM. The game will also be joined in progress on NHL Network.
