ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled forward Teemu Pulkkinen from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Pulkkinen recorded one goal in eight games with Minnesota after being claimed off of waivers from the Detroit Red Wings on Oct. 11. He was reassigned to Iowa on Oct. 29 and has recorded 15 points (8-7=15) in 16 games with the Wild in the AHL.

Pulkkinen leads Iowa in goals, power-play goals (4), shots on goal (54) and ranks second in scoring. He was named the CCM/AHL Player of the Week on Nov. 28 after tallying a goal in four consecutive road games (5-2=7), including two game-winning goals.
The Vantaa, Finland, native owns 21 points (12-9=21) in 78 career NHL contests with Detroit and Minnesota. Pulkkinen was originally selected by Detroit in the fourth round (111th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft and wears jersey No. 17 with the Wild.
