Wild Recalls Zac Dalpe from Iowa

Forward returns to NHL club after injuring his knee early this season

ST. PAUL -- Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the NHL club has recalled forward Zac Dalpe from the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.

Dalpe, 27, has tallied three points (1-2=3) in nine games with Minnesota and two goals and 40 shots in 12 games with Iowa this season. He underwent arthroscopic surgery to repair a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee on Oct. 31. The 6-foot-2, 199-pound native of Paris, Ont., owns 24 points (12-12=24) in 128 career NHL contests with Carolina, Vancouver, Buffalo and the Wild. Dalpe was originally selected by Carolina in the second round (45th overall) of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and was signed as a free agent by Minnesota on July 1, 2015. He wears sweater No. 27 with Minnesota.
