Wild reassigns Pouliot, Reitz to AHL Houston

SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned C/LW Benoit Pouliot (BEHN-wah, POO-lee-ott) and D Erik Reitz (REETZ) to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL). The Aeros are currently tied at one game apiece with Rockford in the best-of-seven West Division Semifinals, part of the 2008 Calder Cup Playoffs.

Pouliot, 21 (9/29/86), posted three points (2-1=3) in 11 regular season games with the Wild, while playing in one post-season game.

Reitz, 25 (7/29/82), skated in two playoff games with the Wild.
