The Minnesota Wild has reassigned defenseman Mike Reilly to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
Reilly, 22 (7/13/93), played in four games with Minnesota, averaging 10:49 TOI/game, after being recalled from Iowa on Jan. 8. The 6-foot-2, 191-pound blueliner made his NHL debut in a 2-1 victory in Dallas on Jan. 9. He has collected 18 points (5-13=18) including three power-play goals in 32 games with Iowa this season, ranking tied for the team lead in power-play goals and fourth in scoring. He collected 42 points (6-36=42) in 39 games during his junior season at the University of Minnesota in 2014-15. Reilly was named a Hobey Baker Memorial Award Finalist and led NCAA defensemen in scoring and assists. He helped the United States win a bronze medal at the 2015 World Championship before signing as a free agent with the Wild on July 1, 2015.
