The Minnesota Wild has reassigned defenseman Christian Folin
to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League.
Folin, 24, has collected 10 points (2-8=10), a plus-4 rating and averaged 15:08 in time on ice in 39 games with Minnesota this season and recorded four points (2-2=4) in 12 games with Iowa. The 6-foot-3, 214-pound native of Gothenburg, Sweden, owns 11 points (2-9=11), a plus-7 rating and 11 penalty minutes in 40 career NHL contests with the Wild.
Iowa plays at the Chicago Wolves Sunday at 3 p.m.
