The Minnesota Wild has reassigned forward Christoph Bertschy to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Bertschy, 21 (4/5/94), made his NHL debut in Minnesota’s 1-0 shutout victory against Tampa Bay tonight at Xcel Energy Center. The native of Friburg, Switzerland, totaled two shots and one hit in 8:08 of ice time in the contest, becoming the 210th player to appear in a regular-season game for Minnesota all-time. Bertschy has collected six points (2-4=6) including a power-play and shorthanded goal and eight penalty minutes (PIM) in 12 games with Iowa this season.
