Wild Re-Signs Pascal Dupuis

 Pascal Dupuis enters his fifth full season with the Wild in 2006-07.
Minnesota Wild President and General Manager Doug Risebrough today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has re-signed LW Pascal Dupuis (pronounced pas-KAL doo-PWEE) to a 2006-07 contract.

 Dupuis, 27 (4/7/79), earned 26 points (10-16=26) in 67 games with Minnesota last season.  The 6-foot, 196-pound forward has collected 128 points (57-71=128), 124 penalty minutes (PIM) and is a +2 in 286 career NHL games, all with the Wild.  Dupuis enjoyed his best NHL campaign in 2002-03, setting career-highs with 20 goals, 28 assists and a +17 rating while skating in 80 contests.  He made his NHL debut on April 2, 2001 at San Jose and scored a power play goal that night on his first-career NHL shot.  The Laval, Quebec-native was originally signed by Minnesota as a free agent on September 18, 2000.

Per club policy, terms of the contracts were not disclosed.
