Iowa Wild 2014-15 Record: 1-5-0-0, 2 points, Fifth Place in West Division

The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, continued its four-game homestand going 1-1-0 in the last two contests. The Wild suffered a 5-1 loss against the Checkers at Wells Fargo Arena on Friday (10/24). C Jordan Schroeder netted the team’s lone goal while G John Curry stopped 20-of-25 shots. Iowa won its first game of the season with a 4-1 victory over Charlotte on Saturday (10/25). Schroeder (2-0=2) and F Tyler Graovac (0-2=2) each scored two points. Forwards Zach Phillips and Kurtis Gabriel also tallied a goal and G Johan Gustafsson made 34 saves. Schroeder ranks T-4th in the AHL in scoring and leads the Wild with eight points (3-5=8). Graovac ranks second with six points (1-5=6) while D Jonathon Blum (1-3=4) and F Michael Keranen (1-3=4) rank T-3rd with four points. Gustafsson is 1-3-0 with a 3.59 GAA and a .887 SV% in four games. Curry is 0-2-0 with a 3.47 GAA and a .882 SV% in three games. The Wild begins a three-game road trip with stops at Milwaukee on Wednesday and Oklahoma City on Saturday and Sunday.

**Currently, six of the nine Wild prospect forwards included in this report are either team leaders or T-1st in team scoring. Adam Gilmour and Alex Tuch are sharing the team lead at Boston College.**

Canadian Hockey Leagues

C Reid Duke - Brandon (WHL): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded four points (3-1=4) for the second consecutive week with a plus-2 rating and eight PIM in four games.

D Tanner Faith - Kootenay (WHL): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied an assist and 10 PIM in four games.

D Dylan Labbe - Shawinigan (QMJHL): The fourth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota recorded four points (1-3=4) in three games last week and ranks T-1st amongst defensemen on the team in goals and second in scoring

C Pavel Jenys - Sudbury (OHL): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied five points (1-4=5) in three games last week and is on a five-game point streak with seven points (1-6=7).

C Chase Lang - Calgary (WHL): The sixth-round pick for Minnesota in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft registered five points (1-4=5) in three games last week.

D Hunter Warner - Prince Albert (WHL): The defensemen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Minnesota in September and earned his first point in the WHL with an assist in the Raiders 5-3 loss at Moose Jaw (10/15).

College/USHL/High School

D Louis Belpedio - Miami University of Ohio (NCHC): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied four shots on goal as Miami split its weekend series vs. St.Lawrence.

D Nolan De Jong - Michigan (Big Ten): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft ranks second amongst defenseman on the team in goals and T-2nd in scoring.

D John Draeger - Michigan State (Big Ten): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft missed first four games of the season recovering from a lower-body injury.

C Adam Gilmour - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's fourth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft recorded five points (2-3=5) with a plus-4 rating and six PIM in two games as the Eagles won their home opening weekend, 6-2 vs. Colorado College (10/24) and 4-1 vs. Massachusetts (10/25).

LW Mario Lucia - Notre Dame (Hockey East): The second-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota registered three points (1-2=3) in two games as Notre Dame won its weekend series vs. Niagara.

LW Louis Nanne - Rensseleaer Polytechnic Institute (ECAC): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft recorded his first goals of the season as Rensselaer lost its weekend series vs. Bentley and leads the Engineers in goals and scoring

C Avery Peterson - Nebraska Omaha (NCHC): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

D Carson Soucy - Minnesota Duluth (NCHC): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in 2013 NHL Entry Draft tallied three shots and two PIM in two games as the Bulldogs split its weekend series vs. Denver and leads all defensemen and ranks T-2nd on the team in goals, T-3rd in assists and is fourth in scoring.

RW Alex Tuch - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft scored three points (1-2=3) with four PIM in two games last weekend.

Europe

C Christoph Bertschy - SC Bern (Swiss): Minnesota's sixth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft recorded three points (1-2=3) in two games…Ranks T-4th on the team in assists and T-6th in points.

Goaltenders

Alexandre Belanger - Rouyn-Noranda (QMJHL): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft snapped his three-game winning streak with just his second loss of the season, 4-2 at Rimouski (10/24). He also ranks first amongst goalies in the QMJHL in GAA, T-4th in shutouts, sixth in SV% and T-10th in wins.

Steve Michalek - Harvard (ECAC): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft has yet to open his season with Harvard, and will do so on November 1 against Dartmouth.
