HOUSTON AEROS (2-2-0, T-6th in West Division) –
The Aeros went 1-2 this past week, winning 2-1 in overtime in Oklahoma City Friday night before losing at home 3-2 to Peoria and 7-2 to Oklahoma City on Saturday and Sunday, respec¬tively. LW Robbie Earl and RW Jean-Michel Daoust each notched a pair of goals while C Casey Wellman tallied the GWG on Friday and also added an assist. Daoust leads the team in scoring with five points (3-2=5). RW Petr Kalus (2-2=4) and C Cody Almond (0-4=4) have four points each. G Matt Hackett is 2-1-0 with a 3.25 GAA and a .901 SV%. The Aeros have three games on the schedule this week as they host Peoria on Friday, play at San Antonio on Saturday and are home again on Sunday against Lake Erie.

Canadian Hockey Leagues

LW Brett Bulmer - Kelowna (WHL):
Second round pick (39th overall) in 2010 Draft has four goals and an assist through nine games. He leads the team in goals and penalty minutes (25), and is tied for second in points.

D Josh Caron - Kamloops (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing played two games and was a +4 before suffering a broken collar bone that will sideline him for six weeks. 

LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft had scored one goal in his first four games, but has since notched an assist in three straight games, including a two-goal, two-assist performance on October 13. He now has three goals and four assists in seven games.

D Colton Jobke - Kelowna (WHL): The 2010 free agent signing has two assists through eight games. He is second on his team in penalty minutes with 24.

D Bjorn Krupp - Belleville (OHL): The 2009 free agent signing has posted two assists through nine games.

RW Dylen McKinlay - Chilliwack (WHL): The seventh round pick (189th overall) in the 2010 NHL Draft has tallied three assists through eight games. He suffered a lower body injury on October 15.
   
College/USHL

C Anthony Hamburg - Colgate (ECAC): The seventh round pick (193rd overall) in the 2009 Draft has yet to play a game for Colgate University in his freshman season. Colgate has played one exhibition game and one regular season game.

LW Erik Haula - Minnesota (WCHA): The seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 scored his first goal of the season on Saturday, and has now posted a goal and five assists through six games. He leads the Gophers in assists and ranks second in points and plus/minus (+4).

D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) in 2008 tallied an assist and was a +3 on Thursday night against Lake Superior State. With two assists through four games, he has already surpassed his point total from last season.

D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick (102nd overall) in 2006 is scoreless through two games this season. The senior is an assistant captain for the Catamounts this season. Vermont doesn't play again untl Saturday night.

F Jason Zucker - Denver (WCHA): Second round selection (59th overall) in 2010 Draft has one assist through four games in his freshman season at Denver. Denver was swept by Boston College over the weekend.

International

F Mikael Granlund - HIFK Helsinki (Finland):
The first round selection (ninth overall) in 2010 scored the deciding goal in a shooout victory last week, and sat out the other game. He has three goals and eight assists through 12 games.

RW Johan Larsson - Brynas (Sweden): The second round selection (56th overall) in the 2010 Draft has posted one assist through eight games and is a +1. He played in two Junior games and scored a goal and two assists.

F Jere Sallinen - Blues Espoo (Finland): The sixth round selection (163rd overall) in the 2010 Draft has a goal and three assists through 11 games this season.

Goaltenders

Dennis Endras - Augsberger (Germany):
The 2010 free agent signing is 5-5-1 through 11 games with Augsberger. Has posted a 3.45 goals against average and a .887 save percentage.

Johan Gustafsson - VIK (Sweden): The sixth round pick (159th overall) in the 2010 Draft ranks fourth among League goaltenders with a 1.98 goals against average and a .929 save percentage.

Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in 2009 has started every Red Deer game and is 8-3-0. He leads the WHL with a 1.53 goals against average and ranks fourth with a .936 save percentage.
