by Staff Writer / Minnesota Wild

HOUSTON AEROS (6-7-0-0, T-3rd in West Division
) – Houston opened the week with a 4-3 shootout win against the Hamilton Bulldogs at home, before falling in three road contests to end the week. The Aeros rallied in the third period and LW Colton Gillies scored the shootout winner to lead Houston to the comeback win over Hamilton Tuesday. The road did not treat the Aeros well, starting with a 2-0 shutout at Grand Rapids Thursday. Friday’s rematch between the teams did not fare much better for Houston, falling to the Griffins 3-1. LW Robbie Earl scored the lone goal for the Aeros, his team-leading fourth of the season. Houston visited the Texas Stars Sunday and fell, 3-1, to end its busy week of games. D Brandon Rogers tallied the Aeros goal while G Wade Dubielewicz made 26 saves in the loss. The Aeros return home after a busy road trip to face the Manitoba Moose Thursday and the San Antonio Rampage Saturday.
