HOUSTON AEROS (19-15-6-1, 4th in West Division) – Houston picked up at least one point in each of its three games last week, earning four points and moving up to fourth in the West Division. The Aeros fell to the Texas Stars in a 3-2 OT decision Wednesday in Cedar Park. RW Jon DiSalvatore and RW Duncan Milroy scored for Houston, while G Anton Khudobin made 20 saves in the loss. Houston returned home to defeat the Rockford IceHogs, 5-3, Friday. D Maxim Noreau recorded his fifth multi-point game of the season and LW Matt Kassian scored his first goal of the year, while G Wade Dubielewicz made a season-high 34 saves in the win. The Aeros again faced the IceHogs, falling in OT, 2-1, Sunday. RW J-M Daoust scored the lone tally for Houston and Dubielewicz made 29 saves but earned the loss. The Aeros continue to battle with the IceHogs, traveling to Rockford for games Wednesday and Friday, before returning to Houston to face the Toronto Marlies Saturday.

**World Junior Championship Gold Medal Game Highlights**

Canadian Hockey Leagues

D Tyler Cuma - Ottawa (OHL):
First round pick (23rd overall) in 2008 Draft picked up two assists and was a +2 in three games last week. He now has one goal and 11 assists in 30 games.

LW Kris Foucault - Calgary (WHL): The fourth round pick (103rd overall) in 2009 Draft has 11 goals and five assists for 16 points in 40 games.

D Marco Scandella - Val-D'Or (QMJHL): Second round selection (55th overall) in 2008 picked up a goal and two assists, and was a +7 in six games while helping Canada to a silver medal finish at the World Junior Championships. Ranks second among Val-D'Or defensemen with seven goals and 22 points.  


C Anthony Hamburg - Omaha (USHL): Seventh round pick (193rd overall) in 2009 Draft, and Colgate University recruit notched two assists last week to bring his point total to 14 (2-12=14) in 30 games.

LW Erik Haula - Omaha (USHL): The University of Minnesota recruit and seventh round pick (182nd overall) in 2009 NHL Draft scored one goal last week. He now ranks fourth in the USHL and second on his team in points (15-28=43) and second with a +20 rating.

D Nick Leddy - Minnesota (WCHA): First round pick (16th overall) in last summer's draft picked up an assist in each of Minnesota's wins over Harvard last weekend. He now owns a goal and two assists in 13 games this season and is a +5.

D Sean Lorenz - Notre Dame (CCHA): Fourth round pick (115th overall) has a goal and an assist in 20 games with the Irish this season.

D Kyle Medvec - Vermont (HE): Fourth round pick in 2006 (102nd overall) has posted two goals and five assists in 18 games this season.


Matt Hackett - Plymouth (OHL):
The third round draft pick (77th overall) in last year's draft went 1-1-0-0 last week. He nor ranks second in the OHL with a .924 save percentage, third with 21 wins and seventh with a 2.70 goals against average.

Darcy Kuemper - Red Deer (WHL): The sixth round pick (161st overall) in last year's draft once again lowered his goals against average to 2.73 and raised his save percentage to .910. He is now 15-15-0-3 on the year.
