Iowa Wild 2014-15 Record: 20-37-1-1, 42 points, Fifth Place in West Division

The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, swept its road weekend series against the Lake Eerie Monsters. Iowa won the first contest against Lake Erie with a 2-1 overtime win at Quicken Loan Arena on Friday (2/27). F Brett Sutter led the team with two assists while D Joel Chouinard scored the OT winner. G John Curry made 29 saves. The Wild completed its weekend sweep against the Monsters with a 3-2 victory Saturday (2/28). F Tyler Graovac, Sutter and D Collin Bowman each scored for Iowa while Curry stopped 34-of-36 shots. Graovac leads the Wild in scoring with 39 points (18-21=39) in 56 games. F Michael Keranen ranks second with 33 points (9-24=33) and Hagel ranks T-3rd with 28 points (9-19=28). F Zach Mitchell ranks seventh in the AHL amongst rookies in goals (15) and T-16th in points (27). Curry is 10-15-0 with a 2.84 GAA and a .913 SV% in 28 games. G Johan Gustafsson is 8-18-1 with a 3.36 GAA and a .896 SV% in 31 games. The Wild will finish its four-game road trip with stops in Texas (Fri.) and San Antonio (Sat.) this week.
Canadian Hockey Leagues

C Reid Duke - Brandon (WHL): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft has not played in the last seven Brandon games due to a lower body injury (Feb.15-current).

D Tanner Faith - Kootenay (WHL): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft is expected to miss the remainder of the season due to an upper body injury.

D Dylan Labbe - Shawinigan (QMJHL):
The fourth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota tallied two assists in four games last week.

C Pavel Jenys - Sudbury (OHL):
Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft netted three goals and eight PIM in four games last week.

C Chase Lang - Calgary (WHL):
The sixth-round pick for Minnesota in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied two assists and two PIM in two games last week.

D Hunter Warner - Prince Albert (WHL): The defensemen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Minnesota is expected to miss the rest of the season due to shoulder surgery.

College/USHL/High School

D Louis Belpedio - Miami University of Ohio (NCHC): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft ranks first amongst defenseman on the team in goals and second in scoring.

D Nolan De Jong - Michigan (Big Ten): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft recorded an assist and four PIM in two games as Michigan swept its weekend series vs. Wisconsin.

D John Draeger - Michigan State (Big Ten): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft netted his first goal of the season (2/27), totaling two points (1-1=2) in two games as Michigan State split its weekend series at Minnesota.

C Adam Gilmour - Boston College (Hockey East):
The Wild's fourth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft registered an assist and 10 shots in two games as Boston College split its weekend series at Notre Dame.

LW Mario Lucia - Notre Dame (Hockey East): The second-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota recorded an assist and 10 shots in two games as Notre Dame split its weekend series vs. Boston College.

LW Louis Nanne - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (ECAC):
Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft tallied an assist and four shots in two games as RPI went 1-0-1 in those games.

C Avery Peterson - Nebraska Omaha (NCHC):
The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft registered two shots and four PIM in two games as Nebraska Omaha earned two shootout wins at Minnesota Duluth.

D Carson Soucy - Minnesota Duluth (NCHC): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in 2013 NHL Entry Draft tallied a goal and four shots in two games as Minnesota Duluth lost its weekend series vs. Nebraska Omaha.

RW Alex Tuch - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded a goal in Boston College’s 2-0 win at Notre Dame (2/27).

Europe

C Christoph Bertschy - SC Bern (Swiss):
Minnesota's sixth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft missed the first two playoff games against Lausanne HC since he suffered a lower body injury on Feb. 11.

D Pontus Sjalin - Leksands J20 (Super Elit): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft ranks third on the team in assists.

Goaltenders

Alexandre Belanger - Cape-Breton (QMJHL): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft started Cape-Breton’s 6-5 OT loss against Quebec (2/27), stopping all eight shots faced in the first period.

Kaapo Kahkonen - TUTO Turku (Mestis):
Minnesota's fourth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft ranks T-2nd in the league in SV% and fifth in GAA.

Steve Michalek - Harvard (ECAC):
The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft earned his third shutout of the season, stopping all 27 shots faced as Harvard won 5-0 vs. Princeton (2/28).
