Iowa Wild 2014-15 Record: 5-14-1-1, 12 points, Fifth Place in West Division



The Iowa Wild, Minnesota Wild’s American Hockey League affiliate, went 0-2-1 in three games last week. The Wild suffered a 6-1 loss against the IceHogs on Wednesday at BMO Harris Bank Center (11/26). D Christian Folin scored his first AHL goal and the team’s lone goal while G John Curry made 43 saves. Iowa lost its second match, 4-3, against the Texas Stars on Saturday at Cedar Park Center (11/29). Forwards Michael Keranen (1-1=2) and Zack Phillips (0-2=2) led the team with two points apiece. Folin and F Zack Mitchell also scored for the Wild. G Johan Gustafsson stopped 16-of-20 shots. The Wild earned a point in its 5-4 shootout loss against San Antonio on Sunday at AT&T Center (11/30). Keranen (0-2=2), F Jordan Schroeder (1-1=2) and F Tyler Graovac (1-1=2) each tallied two points. F Jason Gregoire and D Matt Dumba also netted a goal during regulation. G Josh Harding made his Iowa debut, registering a team record of 50 saves through overtime and stopped one-of-three shootout attempts. Graovac ranks first on the Wild with 17 points (7-10=17). Keranen ranks second with 16 points (4-12=16) and Schroeder ranks third with 15 points (5-10=15). Gustafsson is 4-9-1 with a 3.53 GAA and a .890 SV% in 14 games. Curry is 1-5-0 with a 3.59 GAA and a .896 SV% in seven games. The Wild has one game this week with a stop in Charlotte on Saturday (12/6).

Canadian Hockey Leagues

C Reid Duke - Brandon (WHL): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded a goal in two games last week and is T-4th on the team in assists and fifth in scoring.

D Tanner Faith - Kootenay (WHL): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied his first goal of the season at Everett (11/30).

D Dylan Labbe - Shawinigan (QMJHL): The fourth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota recorded four assists in three games last week and ranks T-1st amongst defensemen on the team in scoring.

C Pavel Jenys
- Sudbury (OHL): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied four points (1-3=4) and four PIM in three games last week and ranks first on the Wolves in assists, second in scoring and T-3rd in goals.

C Chase Lang
- Calgary (WHL): The sixth-round pick for Minnesota in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft registered five points (3-2=5) in three games last week and ranks second on the Hitmen in goals and fifth in scoring.

D Hunter Warner
- Prince Albert (WHL): The defensemen signed a three-year, entry-level contract with Minnesota in September recorded an assist and five PIM in two games last week.

College/USHL/High School

D Louis Belpedio
- Miami University of Ohio (NCHC): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft ranks second amongst defenseman on the team in scoring and T-2nd in goals.

D Nolan De Jong - Michigan (Big Ten): The Wild's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft tallied two PIM in two games as Michigan won its weekend series vs. Rensselaer.

D John Draeger - Michigan State (Big Ten): Minnesota's third-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft recorded two shots on goal as Michigan State split its weekend series at Princeton.

C Adam Gilmour
- Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's fourth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft tallied four shots as Notre Dame went 0-1-1 in two home games last weekend.

LW Mario Lucia
- Notre Dame (Hockey East): The second-round selection in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft for Minnesota tallied four shots as Notre Dame went 0-1-1 in two home games last weekend and ranks first in the conference in goals while ranking third on Notre Dame in scoring.

LW Louis Nanne - Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (ECAC): Minnesota's seventh-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft leads the team in goals and second in scoring.

C Avery Peterson - Nebraska Omaha (NCHC): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft recorded three shots as Nebraska Omaha split its weekend series at North Dakota.

D Carson Soucy - Minnesota Duluth (NCHC): Minnesota's fifth-round selection in 2013 NHL Entry Draft ranks second amongst defensemen in scoring.

RW Alex Tuch - Boston College (Hockey East): The Wild's first-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft recorded his fifth goal of the season in Boston’s 6-2 loss vs. Minnesota (11/28).

C Christoph Bertschy - SC Bern (Swiss): Minnesota's sixth-round selection in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft ranks T-3rd on the team in goals and fifth in points.

D Pontus Sjalin
- Leksands J20 (Super Elit): The Wild's sixth-round selection in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft tallied an assist in three games last week…Ranks T-3rd on the team in assists.
