Wild Plays Of The Week: Feb. 2

by Katlyn Gambill / Minnesota Wild

Over the last few seasons, Wild.com wanted help from fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Play each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. Last season, Zach Parise’s stellar wrister against Calgary won top honors, defeating Mikko Koivu’s tic-tap-tip-in play against Winnipeg.

Zach Parise’s fantastic hand-eye coordination against Detroit earned him last week’s votes for top play.

Weymouth’s Charlie Coyle gets into the voting action this week with his tally against Edmonton. It was the game-winning goal and “The 1” play on Fox Sports Live’s countdown. It was wicked awesome.

Devan Dubnyk stood tall for the next play. He stopped Johnny Gaudreau with a spectacular glove save in Calgary.

Then finally, Thomas Vanek’s game-winning slapshot against Vancouver is the third play up for vote this week.

Take your pick Wild fans!
