Wild Plays Of The Week: Dec. 8

by Katlyn Gambill / Minnesota Wild

Over the last few seasons, Wild.com wanted help from fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Play each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. Last season, Zach Parise’s stellar wrister against Calgary won top honors, defeating Mikko Koivu’s tic-tap-tip-in play against Winnipeg.

Last week, Nino Niederreiter’s nifty goal against Roberto Luongo and the Panthers took top honors.

This week, Jason Pominville, Zach Parise and Nate Prosser are up for Dairy Queen's Plays of the Week. First is Pominville's duck and tip goal against Carey Price and Montreal. Next is Zach Parise's power play goal against Anaheim that showed off his speed as he zoomed down the left side and ripped a shot from the circle that trickled past Frederik Andersen. Last, but not least, is Prosser's assist that sent Justin Fontaine and Kyle Brodziak on a two-on-two. Fontaine then finished the play with a slap shot from the top of the circle that flew past Andersen.

Who will you choose for this week's top play?
