Marian Gaborik leads all Wild Olympians in scoring with two goals and three assists in four Slovakia wins.

Center Mikko Koivu continued his stellar defensive play over the weekend, helping Finland to a pair of wins over the Czech Republic and Canada. Sunday’s 2-0 shutout of Canada was the third posted by Team Finland on the tournament. Koivu had two shots on goal in each win.

Defenseman Filip Kuba put a total of six shots on goal in two games over the weekend. He was a -1 in a 4-2 loss to Finland, and even in a 4-1 win over Italy.

Defenseman Daniel Tjarnqvist was held to two shots and no points in Sweden’s pair of weekend victories over Latvia and the United States. Tjarnqvist was a +1 in the 6-1 victory over Latvia on Saturday, and -1 in the 2-1 triumph over the United States on Sunday.

Left wing Brian Rolston scored Team USA’s only goal against Slovakia in a 2-1 loss on Saturday with a slap shot tally. He led Team USA with five shots in that game. Rolston was held without a point in Sunday’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of Sweden. He finished the game with a -1 rating and three shots on goal.
