We'll just have wait and see who is on the ice during warm-ups tonight as the Minnesota Wild hosts the Colorado Avalanche on the front end of a home-and-home series.
Speaking to the media at about 2:45 p.m., Wild Head Coach Mike Yeo said that the club is taking its lineup decisions for tonight's game into warm-ups. When asked if Zach Parise would be in the lineup, Yeo said, "We're taking everything into warm-ups."
However, the Lighthouse spotted Parise on the bench moments ago in athletic gear and twirling his hockey stick, so take that info however you'd like.
The Wild made a pair of recent roster moves, first recalling Jason Zucker and placing Mikael Granlund on Injured Reserve with an upper-body injury yesterday. Today, the club recalled forward Erik Haula and designated to a non-roster status and is leaving for personal reasons.
So, if Parise is able to go, the team will have a decision to make about the remaining roster spots between Zucker and Haula. If Parise doesn't appear in the game, expect to see both forwards in the lineup.
WildTV was at Zucker and Haula's media availability, which will be posted shortly. They both had an interest Turkey Day stories, but like Yeo, we don't like to give spoilers so you'll have to watch their scrums. Yeo's availability will be posted shortly, as well.
