Wild Fantasy Hockey Is Back

by Staff Writer / Minnesota Wild

Fantasy Game

Wild Fantasy Hockey is back! And this time, it’s for a full season.

Wild Fantasy Hockey is a weekly contest, in which fans will pick three forwards and three defensemen playing in each Wild game for their teams. Fans can choose any combination of players from either team in the Wild’s next game.

Contestants must change their lineup prior to each game starting.

It’s free to play, and it’s hard to argue with free. To register for Wild Fantasy Hockey, click here.

The scoring system will break down as follows:

Three points for a goal by your defenseman
Two points for a goal by your forward
One point for an assist by a forward or a defenseman

In the event of a tie, three tiebreaker questions will be used.

At the end of the week (end of the day on Sunday), the Fantasy player with the most points will win a weekly prize. There will also be a prize given out at the end of the year for the team with the most points at the end of the regular season.

The prize for week one is a 2006 Opening Night State of Hockey game program autographed by Wes Walz.

Fantasy players must be 18 years of age or older, legal citizens of the United States, and be able to pick up their prizes at the Wild offices.

To register, simply click on the Fantasy Hockey photo located on the homepage of the Wild website.
