Patrons planning to attend events at Xcel Energy Center and RiverCentre in downtown Saint Paul from November 24-26 should allow extra time and use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion and parking problems. Heavier traffic is expected due to the following events taking place over the holiday weekend:
Nov. 24-26 Hmong New Year 8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m.
Nov. 24 Minnesota Wild vs. Phoenix Coyotes 1:00 p.m.
Nov. 25 Dierks Bentley 7:30 p.m.
Shuttle service will be available on Friday, Nov. 24 from 8 a.m. – 11:30 p.m. for anyone attending events at Xcel Energy Center or Saint Paul RiverCentre. The shuttle pick-up will be at the parking lot located at 390 East Kellogg Blvd. in downtown Saint Paul. Shuttle drop-off will be at the Rice Park entrance to Saint Paul RiverCentre on Washington Street.

The Xcel Energy Center and adjacent Saint Paul RiverCentre are located at the intersection of Kellogg Boulevard and West 7th Street in downtown Saint Paul. Both buildings are serviced by two parking ramps (RiverCentre and Kellogg) directly connected to the complex. RiverCentre and Kellogg ramps fill up early and alternate plans should be made for entering the city, as well as finding parking during events. There are more than 50 parking ramps/lots within a brief wallk to the facility.
