The Twitterverse was alive this morning with rumors of a Minnesota Wild trade, but thus far, the only moves that have been made today have involved players within the organization.
The Wild will bring up two more forwards from the Houston Aeros today, recalling Jeff Taffe
and Cody Almond
. The team has placed Carson McMillan
on injured reserve with a lower body injury, and has reassigned Kris Foucault to the Aeros.
Taffe and Almond have both spent time with the Wild this season. Almond appeared in eigth games and registered one goal. Taffe played three games and picked up two assists. Taffe currently ranks third in Aeros scoring with 10 goals and 22 assists through 47 games. Almond has six goals and six assists in 25 games.
Foucault became the 39th player to skate for the Wild last night while making his NHL debut. He saw 8:50 of ice time.
