Fans can get a glimpse at the future of the Minnesota Wild at two development camp scrimmages next week. The Wild will open two scrimmages of team prospects to the public at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 12 and 11 a.m. Sunday, July 15 at Xcel Energy Center. Gate One will open half an hour before each scrimmage.

Development camp runs from July 9-15, and a total of 45 players are schedule to attend, including 26 players drafted by the Wild. Minnesota prospects set to attend camp include: Jonas Brodin, Brett Bulmer, Charlie Coyle, Tyler Cuma, Mikael Granlund, Matt Hackett, Erik Haula, Mario Lucia, Zack Phillips, Marco Scandella and Jason Zucker. Also, all seven players selected in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft are expected to attend, including first-round pick Matt Dumba.

The camp focuses on the on-and office-ice development of the club’s prospects. Houston Aeros Head Coach John Torchetti will lead the on-ice sessions. The Wild coaching staff also will meet with players and work with them off the ice. Off-ice programs will consist of strength and conditioning sessions and nutritional instruction.
