The Minnesota Wild has assigned goaltender Josh Harding
to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League (AHL).
The 30-year-old was activated from Injured Reserve on Monday and has not appeared in a game with Minnesota this season. The 6-foot-2, 194-pound native of Regina, Saskatchewan, went 18-7-3 with three shutouts in 29 games with the Wild last season and led the NHL with a 1.65 goals against average (GAA) and a .933 save percentage (SV%). Harding last appeared in a game on Dec. 31, 2013, making 19 saves in a 2-1 loss to St. Louis. He is 60-59-11 with a 2.45 GAA, a .918 SV% and 10 shutouts in 151 career games with Minnesota.
