Wild Announces Preseason Schedule

The Wild and Blackhawks will wrap up the preseason at the Xcel Energy Center on September 30.
The Minnesota Wild today announced its 2007-08 preseason schedule, which will consist of seven games, including three road contests and three home games at Xcel Energy Center.  Minnesota will face the Chicago Blackhawks, Detroit Red Wings and St. Louis Blues twice in preseason action (home-and-home) and play the Buffalo Sabres in a neutral site contest at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D. on Monday, Sept. 24. 

Tickets for the game at Ralph Engelstad Arena are on sale now at all Ticketmaster ( locations or charge by calling Ticketmaster at (701) 772-5151.  Ticket prices range from $19-$60.  This will mark the fourth time the Wild has played a preseason game at Ralph Engelstad Arena.

Minnesota opens its preseason schedule with a home-and-home series against Detroit starting Sept. 18 at Xcel Energy Center followed by a Sept. 20 match at Joe Louis Arena.  The Wild will play at Chicago Sept. 21, host the Blues Sept. 26 and play at St. Louis Sept. 28 before completing its preseason schedule at home against the Blackhawks Sept. 30.  Minnesota went 3-3-0 in six preseason games last season and owns a 23-15-6 all-time mark in preseason action.

All games will be broadcast on WCCO Radio (830 AM) the Minnesota Wild’s official radio flagship station.  Single game tickets for Wild preseason games at Xcel Energy Center will go on sale in late August and regular season home single game tickets will go on sale in September.
