SAINT PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Wild announced today the team will host free pre-game parties for fans prior to Games 1 and 2 of the 2017 Stanley Cup Playoffs at the expansive Cleveland Circle parking lot across West 7th Street from Xcel Energy Center.
Fans are encouraged to wear Wild colors on playoff game days and cheer on the Wild as it faces the St. Louis Blues in Round 1 at Xcel Energy Center this week. Former Minnesota Wild owner Bob Naegele Jr. will give the "Let's Play Hockey" call prior to Game 1 on Wednesday evening.
On Friday, April 14, the pre-game festivities will be held from 4 p.m.-6:30 p.m., ahead of the 7 p.m. start for Game 2 of Round 1. Pre-game festivities will include a DJ, the two-story Bud Light Mega Bar, playoff merchandise, and NHL alumni autographs. Former NHLers Chris Dahlquist, Reed Larson, Dan Mandich, Erik Westrum will be signing autographs from 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. (the session was originally scheduled for 4 p.m.-5 p.m.).
The Hockey Lodge, Official Team Store of the Wild, will be on site selling playoff merchandise as well as Wild Playoff Survival Kits, available for $20. Proceeds from the Survival Kits will benefit the Minnesota Wild Foundation. The kit has everything a fan needs to survive the fun and excitement of springtime hockey, including sunglasses, lip balm, stress puck, rally towel and more. The kit also includes an exclusive augmented reality experience. By downloading the VidPic AR app and hovering over an enclosed poster card with their phone, fans can watch as the image comes to life and morphs into a postseason hype video.
Fans are encouraged to wear Wild team colors on playoff game days. All games will be broadcast on KFAN 100.3 FM and the Wild Radio Network.

Ticket availability for all 2017 NHL Stanley Cup Playoff home games at Xcel Energy Center is extremely limited due to demand and priority access given to Minnesota Wild Season Ticket Holders. Fans are encouraged to join the GameDay Tickets text notification list at wild.com/gamedaytix, designed to help fans get last-minute tickets to Wild home games that have limited availability. GameDay Tickets subscribers will receive an SMS text message when seats for Wild home playoff games are released, including on game days when pairs of tickets (or more), or single seats become available. For Game 1 against St. Louis, it is expected that notifications will be sent both Tuesday, April 11 and Wednesday April 12.
