The Minnesota Wild along with RBC Wealth Management announced the club will be auctioning off individual player practice jerseys beginning today exclusively on Wild.com with all proceeds being donated to Minnesota Hockey’s Gear Up Minnesota!
“We are very excited to partner with Gear Up Minnesota!
,” said Tom Sagissor, North Regional Director of RBC Wealth Management. “As a father of four hockey players, I know how important this sport can be to a child. We are so proud to support this program because it provides an opportunity for kids to play a sport they love and develop skills that will last them a lifetime.”
Individuals will be able to place bids on the practice jerseys of specific Wild players through the auction’s completion on January 31 by going to Wild.com, highlighting the “Community” tab, and then selecting “Online Auction.” You can also find the page by clicking here
Winners will not only receive a Wild practice jersey, but will also be able to attend a closed-to-the-public Wild practice where they will meet the player whose jersey they bid on and have him autograph it.
All proceeds will go to the Gear Up Minnesota!
program which provides equipment grants to hockey associations throughout Minnesota in an effort to minimize the expense of playing hockey and get more boys and girls involved in the game.
