Last year, Wild.com wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Play each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. Last year's winner was Jason Zucker's first-career goals against Detroit. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.
This season, we're getting help selecting the top play each week from our friends at Dairy Queen. Last week's winner was Josh Harding, who made a glove-ly save against Winnipeg. Harding has been so hot lately, he'll have another shot at the weekly belt.
This week, we have another glove save from Harding, and two late-game goals. Up first, Harding makes a sprawling goal-line save against Montreal. Up next, Mikko Koivu scores his second late game-winning goal, in as many weeks, this time against Ottawa. Finally, Zach Parise buries a shorthanded goal in Winnipeg to send the game into overtime.
