Last year, Wild.com wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Plays each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.
This season, we're getting help selecting the top play each week from our friends at Dairy Queen and looking for fans to vote for the Ri-DQ-ulous Play of the Week.
The Week 13 winner was Zach Parise, who found himself on the backdoor with a second-effort goal against the Oilers.
In the competition's final week, we have a high snipe, a clutch save and a playoff-clinching blast. Up first is Cal Clutterbuck's top shelf goal against the Los Angeles Kings. In the same game, goaltender Niklas Backstrom made a game-saving clutch calf stop with only 11 seconds remaining in the third period. Las but not least, Devin Setoguchi's power play blast that punched the Wild's ticket into the playoffs against the Colorado Avalanche.
