Last year, Wild.com wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Plays each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.
This season, we're getting help selecting the top play each week from our friends at Dairy Queen and looking for fans to vote for the Ri-DQ-ulous Play of the Week.
The Week 10 winner was Mikko Koivu's OT winner against Phoenix.
This week we have a save by a defenseman, a power play first from a pair of rookies and finally a first in a Wild sweater. Ryan Suter is known for his two-way play and his goal-line save against San Jose is our first nominee. Up next, we have two talented rookies teaming up on the power play for Charlie Coyle's first-career power play goal on a pretty pass from Mikael Granlund against Columbus. Finally, Jason Pominville finishes the nominees with his finish after a nice feed from Zach Parise against Columbus.
