Last year, Wild.com wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Plays each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.
This season, we're getting help selecting the top play each week from our friends at Dairy Queen and looking for fans to vote for the Ri-DQ-ulous Play of the Week. The Week 2 winner was Pierre-Marc Bouchard snipe, a game winner, against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
This week, we have a couple of clutch goals and one humungous save. First up is Zach Parise’s 200th career goal against the Phoenix Coyotes. The next play is Niklas Backstrom’s game saving effort against the Nashville Predators. Our final nomination for play of the week is Devin Setoguchi’s overtime winner against the Predators.
