Last year, Wild.com wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Plays each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.
This season, we're getting help selecting the top play each week from our friends at Dairy Queen and looking for fans to vote for the Ri-DQ-ulous Play of the Week. The Week 1 winner was Zach Parise for his first goal in a Minnesota Wild sweater, a game winner against the Dallas Stars.
This Week 2, we three new entrants, all making an effort to garner fans' vote for the first time this year. First up is Pierre-Marc Bouchard's snipe against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The second nominee is Cal Clutterbuck's fancy backhand tip against the Chicago Blackhawks. The final nominee is Matt Cullen's shootout winner against Chicago.
