Last year, Wild.com wanted help from our fans in the State of Hockey and beyond to help us select the Top Play of the Year. To do so, we needed you to pick the Top Plays each week, so we could pit them against each other in the offseason in a single-elimination tournament. We had so much fun, we're going to do it again this year.
Last week's runaway victor was Dany Heatley's buzzer beating goal that tied a road game against the Edmonton Oilers and forced overtime. Of course, the Wild eventually won that game in a shootout. A Heatley goal has now been the winner in three of the four weeks.
This week, Heatley will have another goal in contention. His snipe against Detroit proved to be the game-winner against Detroit on Saturday. Of course, that win wouldn't be possible without a spectacular performance by Josh Harding, and he's got a remarkable save in contention.
